I woke up this morning feeling down and drained without knowing why. I looked out the window and it made more sense - nothing but darkness and rain. I am starting to realize how much the weather and changes in season affect my mood. Good thing I don't live in Seattle! There, now I shared something "personal" on my blog.

I have a house in so. cal. you can buy. Average temp is 75 and sunny almost every day. I actually found the monotony of sunny everyday to be sort of annoying. I used to pray for rain or a thunderstorm. (Yes, I know that sounds whiny and ridiculous.)
I lived in Sacramento for a few years and it NEVER rained between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Although I made a lot of friends there, I would not live there again. Strangely enough, I really like the weather in SF. I think sunny every day affects peoples minds adversely. Good thing you got out!
